Mara and Kevin’s Wedding - Rehoboth Beach, Delaware (September 20, 2008)

Monday, October 27th, 2008

Mara and Kevin’s wedding included a private garden bayside ceremony, made unique by the tunes of the Island Boyz, floral decor from South Pacific Florist and the setting of their family home in North Shores of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Their cocktail hour and reception were one-of-a-kind with local food from Nage Catering and a formal seated dinner in an elegant tent on the beach of Rehoboth. The tent was softly light with hundreds of candles, soft blue uplighting and paper lanterns hung at various heights over the dancefloor. Guests were welcomed on the beach by soft candlelit luminaries to guide them along the boardwalk built especially for Mara and Kevin’s guests - to ease their walk onto the beach. The overall color scheme and style was classic and beachy with a modern twist, highlighted by white, chartruse green and shades of blue. The tables and chairs were all white, from the linens to the white chivari chairs and seat cushions, along with classic and modern square beveled china. Roses and hydreangea, among other complimenting flowers, in white and blues and greens, adorned the tables and bars to complete the overall look of this elegant and impressive oceanside reception. Even with the hurricane winds and a rising tide that proved to be a challenge, this wedding went off without a hitch - thanks to many vendors coming together! Enjoy one of our favorite photos - we hope to have some more from HeatherZ Photography to add soon.

P.S. We can’t wait to start working with Mara’s sister Susanne - we will be coordinating her wedding to Brian next Spring!

Brooke and Kirk’s Wedding in Fenwick Island, Delaware (September 27, 2008)

Sunday, October 26th, 2008

Brooke and Kirk had a memorable wedding day which they shared with about 75 close friends and family at a private home in Fenwick Island, Delaware, rented specifically for their event week. The had a beautiful ceremony on the beach and remarkably only felt a few small showers throughout the whole service (which the Bride and Groom deemed were good luck in their marriage). We agree! Brooke, Kirk and their family and friends celebrated with house and club/lounge-style music being mixed by DJ (Brian Anderson of Baltimore) perfectly situated on the top deck of the beach home on the bay and they enjoyed the fabulous cuisine of local caterer Nage.  Angie Moon photography captured all the important details of this special day and many candid moments that the couple will never forget! Guests danced and dined under a tent on the back on the home (it was right on the bay and the sunset was gorgeous) and mingled in and out of the home and on the pool deck, lite by the moon, throughout the night. We wish Brooke and Kirk and lifetime of happiness - it was such a beautiful and unique wedding to plan and most of all, it reflected the Bride and Groom! We can’t wait to see more of the photos!
