Brooke and Kirk’s Wedding in Fenwick Island, Delaware (September 27, 2008)

Sunday, October 26th, 2008

Brooke and Kirk had a memorable wedding day which they shared with about 75 close friends and family at a private home in Fenwick Island, Delaware, rented specifically for their event week. The had a beautiful ceremony on the beach and remarkably only felt a few small showers throughout the whole service (which the Bride and Groom deemed were good luck in their marriage). We agree! Brooke, Kirk and their family and friends celebrated with house and club/lounge-style music being mixed by DJ (Brian Anderson of Baltimore) perfectly situated on the top deck of the beach home on the bay and they enjoyed the fabulous cuisine of local caterer Nage.  Angie Moon photography captured all the important details of this special day and many candid moments that the couple will never forget! Guests danced and dined under a tent on the back on the home (it was right on the bay and the sunset was gorgeous) and mingled in and out of the home and on the pool deck, lite by the moon, throughout the night. We wish Brooke and Kirk and lifetime of happiness - it was such a beautiful and unique wedding to plan and most of all, it reflected the Bride and Groom! We can’t wait to see more of the photos!

Christy and Tim’s Delaware Beach Wedding in Lewes (September 6, 2008)

Wednesday, September 24th, 2008

With Hurricane Hanna on her way plan “B” was in action until…Christy called us about one hour before her scheduled rehearsal ceremony and said, “You’re going to think I’m crazy…but I want to get married tonight on the beach!” With a quick trip to Flowers by Mayumi in Lewes, Delaware for an emergency bouquet of coral roses and Gerber daisies, and a call to the officiant and photographer - we had a beautiful and memorable beach wedding.  Christy and Tim’s closest family and friends were there (and they were surprised to realized that they were at THE wedding)! The  guests hummed “dah dum dah dum” and with smiles and tears, a marriage of two people happy and in love took place - it’s these moments that will never be forgotten! The soft rain began just as we were exiting the beach and Christy and Tim did it all over again on their planned wedding day inside The Inn at Canal Square, with a charming reception in at Christy’s family home in Wolfe Pointe in Lewes, DE.

 Congratuations Christy and TIm!

It was such a pleasure getting to know you and your families - all the best!

Lots of thanks to Nage Catering staff and the team at The Inn at Canal Square in Lewes, Delaware. And, of course, what beautiful photos Rob of Humbled Eyes Photography captured - he’s truly a pro!
