Don't be afraid to request a food tasting from the caterer you've hired for your event. The catering bill is most often one of the largest at an event and tasting a variety of menu options is a completely appropriate request. Think about it - have you ever recommended a restaurant to a friend where you have never even tasted the food? Menu items can leave a lasting impression on your guests and you certainly want that impression to be remarkable and to reflect your taste!
