I am the Mother of the Bride and I chose to use a Wedding Coordinator ("Day Of" Services) so I could relax and enjoy myself throughout the Rehearsal and Wedding Day festivities.  We had 85 guests, which I am sure is not a large affair in the scheme of all events, but Casey & Leanne always made me feel like our event was a their top priority, whether it was through emails, phone conversations or on-site meetings.  Even though it was a "Day Of" package, they worked with me well in advance on planning and offering suggestions.  Their price was very reasonable for all the work they did and the wedding and reception went very smoothly.  Even when a tiny error occurred (it was not their responsibility in the first place), they stepped in made a correction for the other vendor, just so everything was as perfect as we planned it to be.  Make My Day Event Planning is a top-notch company with top-notch coordinators and I would recommend them very highly!!

Casey and Leanne exceeded my expectations. Faced with two complex, highly public events, their efforts made everything run smoothly, efficiently and beautifully. Details were attended to diligently and in a timely manner. Communication was excellent. In what surely unique events for them, they worked well with volunteers, staff from other organizations as well as members of the organizing committee. My overall impression of the event were that they were well run, and when bumps in the road showed up as they always do, Casey and Leanne made sure their was little if any turbulence that was noticeable to our attendees -
that's what I think is most important to an event, that the public enjoys the event and is minimally if at all
aware of what is going on behind the scenes.

The most impressive part of Make My Day Event Planning is their attitude! In the face of great pressure, high exposure and expectations, Casey and Leanne got their heads around the details of major events involving the Delaware General Assembly, the Governor's Office, US Senators, foreign dignitaries, local dignitaries, churches, universities, ferries, tall ships, trolleys and a host of other parties that needed to be coordinated, massaged and worked with to ensure a success. I can say that without a doubt the without their help, the Rededication and Sail Lewes events would have been no where near as successful.

I'd work with the planners at Make My Day Event Planning again in an instance and would not hesitate to hire them if
we needed another event coordinated!

Sail Lewes was a fantastic event. From the Parade of Sails on Friday and the Historical Society cruise, to the tented public affair on Saturday/Sunday at the Ferry Terminal and evening cruises, and passports to the ships, I think everything went generally without a hitch. The volunteers were great and looked like they enjoyed working the event. I spoke with both the Captain and crews of the Alliance and the A.J. Meerwald. I spoke with the Alliance crew on Friday, took a cruise on the Meerwald on Monday, and spoke with the Captain & crew. They all had a great time and thought the organization was fantastic. The Captain thought that 500 people came onboard both Saturday and Sunday. The Kalmar Nyckel in downtown Lewes was a site to be seen not to mention the huge throngs of crowds downtown on Saturday( Mark at Café Azafran did his most lunches ever - 200; Gavin at Puzzles said it was his best day this year). The huge crowd on the beach for the Parade of Sails was fantastic. Many people came up to me while I volunteered at the Ferry Terminal and asked when we were doing this again NEXT YEAR? Anyway, I just wanted to share some thoughts. Hope you had as wonderful a time as I did. And thanks for all your help in making Sail Lewes a weekend to remember in Lewes.
